On February 4th, ASTRAL Executive Search organized a seminar “Team Coaching – The Path to Effectiveness and Cohesion,” where the speaker Sandra Liepa shared methods and approaches in team coaching that help enhance team effectiveness and improve collaboration among its members.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to discuss the key obstacles that prevent teams from achieving their goals and improving work dynamics.
During the discussions, various limitations were addressed, including the lack of clear goals, insufficient communication skills, weak leadership abilities, poor internal collaboration, unclear roles and responsibilities, lack of resources, trust and psychological safety issues, low employee motivation, generational challenges, and cultural differences. Throughout the seminar, participants also focused on issues related to team collaboration dynamics and the need for a deeper understanding of these dynamics.
One of the key solutions discussed for improving team effectiveness was the role of team coaching.
Participants were introduced to the team coaching process, its course, outcomes, and benefits in overcoming obstacles, as well as situations where team coaching may not be suitable for an organization. The flow of a coaching session was discussed, along with the roles of both the team coach and the leader in this process.
